In the first half of 2019, the per capita disposable income of Haimen city's permanent residents hit 20,671 yuan ($2,996), an increase of 1,665 yuan over the same period in the previous year, according to a report in the Haimen Daily.

The figure represented year-on-year increase of 8.8 percent, 0.1 percentage points higher than that of the first quarter of 2019 and is 0.1 percentage points higher than the provincial average.
