Qidong woos talents with furnished apartments

Qidong government prepared to offer 216 apartments to skilled workers coming to work at the county-level city in Nantong, eastern China’s Jiangsu province, as the government recently completed the decoration of a part of the apartments.
The practice was part of the county-level city’s initiative to woo skilled workers to choose to work here.
The residence building for skilled workers invested by the Qidong government has a total of 612 apartments, and covers an area of 26,716 square meters.
As of now, the local authorities have completed the decoration of 216 apartments, and plan to loan them to people the local government deem as skilled workers or professionals.
These apartments are all equipped with a complete set of furniture, including an intelligent face-recognition system, central air-conditioning, a refrigerator and more.
A large canteen is under construction and will be available for the skilled workers living in the building in the near future.
