The Qidong Social Welfare Center, reportedly the largest nursing center in East China’s Jiangsu province, will begin operating soon, according to a local news release.

The main construction work has already been completed, with interior and exterior decorations almost finished.

Unlike traditional nursing homes, the new nursing center includes a shopping mall, a residential community, a hospital, and even an amusement park.

It occupies an area of 72,500 square meters, with green space making up 35 percent of the total area. 

Residents will be sorted into different buildings based on their health in order to more easily provide proper medical services.
