A delegation led by Zhang Baoliang, Party secretary of Bincheng district in Binzhou city, Shandong province, visited Tongzhou district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on May 21.

Chen Yonghong, Party secretary of Tongzhou district, welcomed the delegation and showed them around the district's high-tech zone.

The Shandong delegation visited local companies focusing on the new energy, manufacturing, and textile sectors.  

Zhang Baoliang spoke highly of Tongzhou district's economic and social achievements.

He noted that Tongzhou has a strong economy and said that the delegation will study the district's experiences in economic growth, urban development, and industrial upgrading in order to promote growth in Bincheng district.

Chen Yonghong said that Bincheng district, located in the Yellow River Delta, will have a prosperous future.

He noted that the visit has laid a solid foundation for cooperation between the two districts and is expected to lead to the establishment of communication systems for closer cooperation.

A number of Tongzhou district officials, including Chen Bing, Yu Yuesong, Cheng Xiaohong, Li Xueyi, Zhang Xingguo, Shen Xudong, and Xu Linfeng, also attended the meeting.
