A culture and tourism delegation led by Nantong’s culture and tourism bureau took part in the Asian Culture and Tourism Exhibition in Beijing from May 16-18.
During the exhibition, the Nantong delegation showcased its innovative culture and tourism products, as well as its unique embroidery works.
Merchandise from the animation The Young Zhang Jian, which tells the story of the modern Nantong entrepreneur and educator, proved popular among visitors.
Clothing, bags, and fans made of Shen Shou-style embroidery were also well-received.
The exhibition was hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to mark the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations held in Beijing from May 15 to 16.
The event attracted governments, travel agencies, hotels, resorts, and airlines from throughout China and from more than 30 Asian countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, India, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
