Free concert for Nantong residents

A free concert will be held at the Gengsu Theater in Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province, on May 27, with two choirs from Russia and the Philippines performing.

The event is part of the 4th Zijin Choir Festival organized by the Chinese Musicians Association and the publicity, education, cultural, and tourism departments of Jiangsu province. It is meant to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Republic of China and promote the development of the local culture industry.

The performance will start at 2:30 pm. Locals can obtain tickets at the theater’s ticket office using their ID. Each person is allowed a maximum of two tickets.
