Sijie Street: memories of the past
A photo taken on April 20 shows mottled buildings on Sijie Street in downtown Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province. The street, some 600 meters long and 3 m wide, has a long history spanning hundreds of years. It is home to a cluster of historical buildings dating back to the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and the Republic of China (1912-1949). [Photo/IC]
