Nantong museums prepare for busy 2019

A total of 61 exhibitions are expected to be held at 10 museums in Nantong, Jiangsu province this year, according to information released by the city’s culture, broadcasting, television and tourism bureau on Feb 27.

Visitors will be able to enjoy exhibitions on themes including Chinese incense, the Chinese abacus, Rugao-style seals, Nantong blue calico cloth, calligraphy by Cao Yongping, and the embroidery art of Shen Shou, a Suzhou artist from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
