A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Feb 23 at Rudong county in Nantong, Jiangsu province for 27 major programs.  

These new programs, with a planned investment of 8.09 billion yuan ($1.2 billion) cover areas in industry, service, agriculture, and automotive interior decoration.

CISI-Zhongke Energy Conservation and Technology Co Ltd invested 1.55 billion yuan in Rudong to establish four nano-electric membrane production lines.

Once the four production lines are put into operation, the program will receive an annual turnover of 3 billion yuan.

Chen Huiyu, governor of Rudong county required government departments to work together to support the 27 major programs for their official production.

Party secretary Shen Junfeng stressed at the ceremony that the operation of these major programs will contribute greatly to the quality growth of Rudong.
