Tangzha Old Town in Nantong, Jiangsu province, will host its first lantern show to celebrate the upcoming Lantern Festival, which falls on Feb 19 this year.

More than 100 sets of lanterns will be on display from Feb 16 to 24, showcasing the profound culture and history of the town.

The lanterns will be lit up from 5:30pm to 9:30pm and people can enjoy the visual feast for free.

Tangzha, an important industrial base in modern China, completely preserves China’s modern industrial civilization such as living places, water conservancy facilities, educational and charity institutions, as well as modern commerce blocks.
