Rugao radish processing raises farmers' incomes
An aerial photograph shows a worker at a radish processing enterprise in Rugao, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on Jan 6. Rugao has ideal conditions for growing white radishes, and the vegetable has been grown in the city for around 1,000 years. Through deep processing, farmers in the city have been able to increase their incomes. Rugao-made dried radishes enjoy strong sales both at home and abroad. [Photo by Xu Congjun/Xinhua]
