The drama Fenghua Juedai (Unparalleled Beauty) was staged at the Gengsu Theater in Nantong, Jiangsu province, Dec 31, 2018.

The drama was directed by Tian Qinxin and featured the performance of Liu Xiaoqing, one of the leading actresses in China during the 1980s.

It tells the life story of the famous courtesan Sai Jinhua, a legendary but very controversial figure in the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Since its debut in 2012 in Beijing, the drama has been performed over 100 times in more than ten cities around China and earned a good reputation.
