Nantong Open University to develop intangible culture heritages

Nantong Open University (NTOU) launched an education project of "Intangible Cultural Heritage into Classrooms, Inheriting Traditional Culture" on Dec 27.

During the launching ceremony, NTOU signed a cooperation agreement with the Nantong municipal bureau of culture, radio, film, television, press and publication. The two sides will jointly carry out teaching courses of intangible culture heritages to promote the inheritance of traditional culture.

Additionally, NTOU signed a contract with Shen Shou Art Gallery, a venue named after Shen Shou,a renowned embroidery master of the late Qing Dynasty (1644 -1911) . Together they established the NTOU Shen Shou embroidery art and creativity studio.
