The Shanghai Jiao Tong University & Pegasus Brigade (Nantong) Technology and Innovation Park opened in the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, Jiangsu province on Nov 30.

The park is jointly established by Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Pegasus Brigade, an investment institution for innovation and entrepreneurship and the management committee of Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area.

It integrates the advantages of the resources provided by the government, university and enterprises, creating a platform for the rapid industrialization of high-level talents, cutting-edge technology and venture capital, building a service system for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Qiang Qiang, Party committee secretary of Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area, said that the development area will give full play to its advantages in location, costs, openness and resources to deepen the all-round, multi-level and wide-ranging cooperation with Shanghai. 

Nearly 100 guests, including entrepreneurs, investors, experts and professors from universities and colleges, as well as representatives from mainstream media, attended the launch ceremony and discussed the development prospects and opportunities of the intelligent manufacturing industry in Nantong.
