The literary and artistic creation base of Tongzhou district was unveiled in Kaisha Island Tourist Resort, Nantong, Jiangsu province on Nov 18.

The base is located in Kaisha Island tourist resort, a place with a superior geographical location and favorable tourism resources, it will provide inspiration for writers and artists in Tongzhou district.

As the first literary and artistic creation base in the district, the base integrates the district’s tourism resources with cultural resources in a bid to enhance the resort’s cultural links and promote the district’s economic development.

Hu Weidong, director of the information office of Tongzhou district, and Fan Xiaoyan, the district’s deputy head, attended the inauguration ceremony.
