Polish Film Week opens in Nantong
Jointly hosted by China Film Co., Ltd and Poland Film Association, the Polish Film Week kicked off at Gengsu Theatre, Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province on Nov 14.
Jiang Ping, general manager of China Film Co Ltd, invited several famous Polish film directors to Nantong to open the film week.

The event is aiming to showcase the diversity of Polish cinematography, both its contemporary accomplishments as well as well-known classic works.
Seven famous Polish films will be screened at Gengsu Theatre from Nov 14 to 20. They are The Pianist, Warsaw 44, Wolyn, Ashes and Diamonds, Man of Marble, The Promised Land and Nights and Days.
The Polish Film Week is one of the series of events being held during the Third Polish Circles of Art in China Festival.
The Third Polish Circles of Art in China Festival will tour eight Chinese cities, including Beijing, Hangzhou, Chengdu, until the end of December this year, with a variety of activities to be held, including film screenings, concerts and art exhibitions.
