China Architectural Enterprises Summit Forum opens in Nantong
The sixteenth China Architectural Enterprises Summit Forum opened in Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province on Nov 8.
The three-day forum was jointly organized by China Construction News Agency, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-rural Development and the Nantong municipal people’s government, aiming to boost the high-quality development of China’s construction industry.
Leaders and experts from China’s construction industry, principals and representatives of provincial construction departments, construction industry associations and leading construction enterprises participated in the forum. Xu Xinmin, deputy mayor of Nantong, hosted the opening ceremony.

Buildings constructed by Nantong construction group have won 100 Luban Prizes. Nantong will follow the principles of the modern construction industry, promoting the development of construction that is prefabricated, eco-friendly, intelligent and digital, creating a modern construction industrial cluster, the city’s deputy Party chief, Zhang Zhaojiang, explained during the opening ceremony.
The China Architectural Enterprises Summit Forum, approved by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development of the People’s Republic of China, was established by China Construction News Agency and 20 domestic large construction enterprises in 2001 to boost communication and exchange among the construction industry.
