Covering an area of 2,467.5 square meters, the four-storey main building in the style of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) has been named among the first top ten landscape architecture achievements in Nantong. It is elaborately designed and arranged and incorporates broad views of the wide waters of the Haohe River. One of the top ten scenic attractions of Haohe, "five pavilions inviting the moon", a landmark scene on the east riverside, is a richly decorated jade palace in green waves, like five emeralds embedded in jasper overlooking the landscape.
